There is an historic area called papuanewguinea. In papuanewguinea the live an old ancient lifestyle in the woods/forest. They use old tools and all natural resources and the non-advanced human resources that they have made. Something was grown in papuanewguinea was called Sego and sego is located in a sego tree. It is a major source of what they use. But it doesn't store well meaning you cant save it  and not enough nutrients in just Sego. And the best civilizations had advanced technology, large population, and well organized work force. Domestication is the way humans grow and change crops. The land of Draa is believed to be a small Village and the worlds first Granerey. Humans also thrived in the Middle East. In the Middle East they naturally grow barley and wheat. And the Last thing is a statement made by a black man "Why you white men have so much cargo and we have so little." The white people thought they should be the more Superior.

Test Day

Today in class we took our first test. Overall I think I did pretty good. It wasn't to hard and it made it even easier that we could use our notes from our blog. So I was able to find all my answers pretty easily. This also teaches us that we need to take our blog serious because we never know when we may be able to use this on our test. For the last part of class we got to work on any homework we wanted to and that help me because I needed to finish my Spanish.

Review on Mesopotamia

Mesopotamia is fertile land that is between two rivers and has great soil for farming. We talk about the Paleolithic age and that is basically just the old age where they used old hand made tools to get things done. But we also talked about the Neolithic age and this age had more advanced tools and was a better age overall based and resources. The last thing that we talked about was Hammarbi's code which is basically one of the harshes set or group of laws ever created. Basically it is saying what ever you do to someone else illegally you will receive 10 times worse the consequence.

The earliest cites

In class we continue to discuss the land of Mesopotamia. This land was a place between two rivers, the Tigers and Euphrates. Another thing that was talk about was the population increasing due to the irrigation techniques. Some of the cities have 40,000 inhabitants. Another piece of information that we talked about is how Sumerians invented the earliest form of writing. Another interesting fact about them is that they created a calender biased on the cycles of moon. Another thing that we talk about in class was Hammurabi codes and these codes were the most vicious laws of the time back then. Laws such as having your hand cut off if stealing.

West Civ Class: The intro

I am new to the class but today in my new class we discuss how the class works. We talk about the do's and do not's in the class. For example we are to right a blog about class everyday even if we weren't there. This is going to teach us a lot about responsibility because forgetting about these small little assignments a=can have a big impact on your grade. You talk about how at the end of the year the blog could come out to about 130 points. This is big for me because I'm not the best test taker so little points each day that will eventually combined to something big such a this homework grade is huge for me. You also talk about how if someone is talking don't talk because everyone has an opinion and needs to be heard so one person talking at a time is huge for our communication and ultimately my and our success.
