Pyramid

Today in class we had an assignment were we had to build a pyramid on the laptop. We worked in groups of two and the first to groups done got an A the second two groups down got a B and the third two groups got a C. My group was the 6th group done so we got a C it was very hard to have the perfect balance of everything such as workers, officers, officials so everything had to be perfect or the Pyramid would not work. What also made the task so hard is that we have no experience in this field so somebody like us wouldn't really know. But someone who is an expert on pyramids would know because they are well knowledgeable about the topic.

Substitute Day

Today we had a sub because you were not here. We worked on our cyber day assignments if they weren't finish and if they were than we just worked on any other assignments from any class quietly.

Cyber day work

-The first theological development ancient Egyptians created were hieroglyphs, it was there way of writing. They used it to explain a story or to solve math problems. Hieroglyphs writing was used from about 3200 BC until the late 4th century AD. I believe this is an important development because this is a way they could communicate.
-A second theological development ancient Egyptians created was the stone circles. The stone circles were used to determine when the next flood was coming. This was an important invention because it helped the Egyptians prepare for the flood so they could possibly save their things.
-A third theological development ancient Egyptians created was a calender, they understood that there were 365 days in a year, 12 months, around 28-31 days each so they created the calender which help them remember dates, plan and schedule things, and most importantly put everybody on the same time.
-The fourth thing that the Egyptians seemed to develop was the system of constellations. It was independent from the works of Greeks and Mesopotamian's. They were able to use these to great success. which eventually help there civilization even more.
-The fifth and final technological development was the invention of spells. If a person was sick or ill, there was no medicine to get them right so a magical potion or a saying was said over them so that person could survive.

In my opinion the most important and I think the most effective is the calender this gave everyone a sense of order from a time standpoint. Then the spells would be next for me because it could cure and heal the sick. Next would be hieroglyphs because this was the way for them to communicate. Next, would be the stone circles and last the constellation, something they stood for.

Review Test

Today in class we simply reviewed the test to see what questions that we need to work on individually and also as a class. I think that this was helpful because I will eventually see these words again on the final exam and 3 months from now i'm not going to remember all this so going over it so I can have the answers for the final is key. Some things I took away from the class today were reading the question on a test but covering the answers that way I can be sure what the answer is.

Test day

Today we took a test on the Movie we've been watching. I felt I did good on the test I felt there weren't too many questions that I didn't know or understand. One other thing that would help me on this test was process of elimination. Because we had multiple choice it made it a little easier in breaking down which answered made since and which didn't and from there picking the correct one. I like the fact that we were able to use beginning of class to study and refresh or minds. I was able to get some key notes that were on the test that I forgot.

Movie day 2

Today in class we talk about how that some places like the Middle East were more fortunate than others because of the type of geographical features that these areas were blessed with. These places and civilizations also have the best working animals. If you have good working animals you can be successful because its an extra hand and there are lots of things that the animal can dot that the human jut can not physically do. Honestly where ever you born or whatever civilization you were born to it was all outta luck.

Movie

Animals that weight a lot of pounds such as 100 pounds or more were way better because they hard more meat to eat and could be used for muscle power such using the animals to pull things for you. The best animals that work for you can start giving birth after working for you for 1,2 years. So its best to have a high fertility rate with working animals. Another important thing is for the animal to be able to get along with humans. Goats, sheep, pigs, cows, horses, donkeys, bactrian camels, Arabian camels, water buffalo, llamas, reindeer, yaks, mithans, and Bali cows. None of these animals are from the North America, Australasia But from North Africa, Middle East and Asia. Cows pig sheep and goats are native to the middle east. Having great crops a good living place and having good work animals was critical to success.
