Exam Extended Responses
In class yesterday we did the extended response part of our Exams we had to answer 3 out of the 5 long questions that were there. I feel like I did pretty good for forgetting to study and review for those questions. Obviously some questions were kind of difficult because I didn't study. Some questions I felt like I did good on though just because they were simple logical questions. But Im goin to continue to study for the Exam questions

Test in Rome
Today we took a test on Rome, which is the last test of the year. It was very difficult because I forgot to study and review my notes so it was harder than it should've been. I didn't do as good as I am capable of. But I will make sure that I study and I am prepared for the exam.

Last presentation day
Today was the last presentation day for anyone who did not present. The last to present were Suki and Christina were the last to present. And overall I thought that theirs was the best. I mean first it started off with the very detailed model of an ancient Rome building. Then it was a nice detailed video that had solid facts, and lastly was I think the best part of it all which was the Roman drawing. Overall I gave them a 99 because of they great idea and the efficiency at which they did it.

Presentation Day 2
Today in class we witnessed some really interesting projects with a catapults, and funny video, and a model of ancient Rome. The model of ancient Rome I thought was the best one because of the detail that it had, it was very detailed, and the description of the different layers and compartments were very accurate. I thought that the catapult and the video were good ideas but they were just not executed to the best of their ability. But the main thing this is suppose to do is give us information on Rome so that we can pass future test on Rome, do good on the exam, and just learn information in general.

Presentation day
Today in class we were able to start our presentations and get some done. The first group to go was Megan and Gabi, and they did a very nice job I thought they presented solid information and did overall a solid job, nothing spectacular because it was only a slide presentation. Next was me Skylar and Gabi and I thought we also did a pretty good job but with the idea of a tri-fold program, but the presenting to the class couldve went much smoother in terms of knowing names and things like that. The last group was okay. They had a good idea but I got a little bored and didn't have any questions to ask. But so far everyone has been pretty good

Finished the Rome Movie
Today in class we picked up were we left off from Wednesday which was the Patricians having to make a decision because Tiberius put the city on a standstill shutting everything down. And by this happening the Patricians were able to trick the people. They know as well as the people know it is forbidden for one person to hold all the power and they told the plebeians he is doing this because he want to be king we have to stop him and they ended up tricking most of them and enough of them to kill Tiberius.

Pop quiz on Rome
For most of the first part of class we really did nothing. We talked, were on our laptops, and basically did nothing. But then Mr. Schick said take everything off your desk and we looked up at the power point and it said pop quiz with a baby crying. I was not ready for this quiz and unforchanetly got a 7 out of 10 but now I know to be ready at all times especially in a class like his were you should always be reviewing your notes anyway

Movie on Rome
Today in class we watch a very interesting movie on Rome, the movie was mainly based on Tiberius and how he tried to free the plebeians and help them out because they were being treated very poorly by the patricians, or rich people. He stood up for what was right and the patricians didn't want this so in return Tiberius shut down the whole city and put it into a standstill. This was a very smart move by the young Tiberius as they were forced to male a decicion

Rome Movie
Today we watch a movie in class on the great civilization of Rome Under the Leadership of a bad leadership of Tiberius, the people wanted him out because of the forceful leader he was , they really couldn't handle it especially after having his father. In 146 BC in Carthage it was the end of the 3rd Punic wars. Rome was ordered by their leader for the city to be burned. But after 6 days the Carthaginians rendered. And Rome was able to to take over.Rome demolished the city because they hated Carthage. If it was anything left they smashed it and the 50,000 that remained became slaves of the Roman Empire. And they would rain supreme for the next 600 years. I enjoyed watching this movie because it had a lot of interesting facts that I can actually remember and the pictures and videos of the war were very very vivid which also made it more attractive to watch

Group Work
Today in class we didn't do anything except work with our groups on our projects because Mr. Schick wasn't here. Our group was able to get some solid work done because we split up and assigned what we needed to get done so we can be finished by the weekend and then review the project over the weekend but today once we were done our individual parts we came together because we about to put it all together. I think we are ready to get a good grade because we have came up with a good idea of the program of chariot games

Rome Movie
Today in class we watched movie n Rome...
Mr. Schick wasnt in the best mood due to a lot of factors, me probably being one of the problems and on top of that his computwr was not working, therefroe we could not watch the movie he had planned for uus in his planning. But instead he instucted us to watch the movie on our own. The movie starts slow but then picks up and basically describes the different wars that went on in Rome who took power and lost.

Soft Day
Today in class instead of learning by power points or by notes we visited the main hallway to learn about the achievements and individual accomplishments of people famous in history. The way it worked was as we pressed the button on their should that was attached to them, they gave us a summary of the life the highs and lows of life, how they've develop and what has made them the person they have become today. The people that were more into what they were doing go more people to come to there station. And not only that but we were able to learn better because we were so engaged in what they were doing.
