ARISTOTLE
Aristotle was a Greek Philosopher and also a well known Greek scientist born in the great Macedonian city of Stagira. He was also a pretty known figure in historical times of Greece. Aristotle was born in 384 BC and he later died in 322 BC. His education was at the Platonic Academy from the time period of 367 BC to 347 BC. His parents were Nicomachus and Phaestis. Aristotle was affiliated with the Macedonian court for his whole life. In 338 BC Aristotle went back to Macedonia to King Phillips the 2nd son the 13 year old Alexander The Great. When Alexander the Great grew up and eventually became king Aristotle started a school with Alexanders permission and from the rest of his life became a teacher and a researcher. Aristotle believed that knowledge is something that can be obtained through interaction with materials. His theory of deduction is now the basis of what philosophers now call syllogism, which is a logically argument where a conclusion is inferred. This is one of the reasons I now Aristotle is an important person because he has impacted today's science, philosophy, logic, and basically just the way we looked and observe stuff. I also know he is an important figure because he is still wrote about today.
